now now, cman...and yes, this family needs to communicate more. It's like when everything is fine, nobody has anything to say; and when something is wrong, they are too stressed to say anything. Hence: nothing. As for me, I am getting ready for my last few months of sitting in class. End of January, I will start rotations and never have to see a lecture hall EVER AGAIN. On the weekends, I still go to work and research, but try to make time for home chores and lunches with friends too.
Grandma is so funny. Last time when I went on a date with this Vietnamese guy (a while ago), she peeked out of the living room, and told my sister that he was sooo handsome. hahaha. (and yes, he was). Then, next time when she heard the doorbell, she came out and saw....anh duong. hahahahah, that was so funny to me. Btw, I am taking her to pick up her hearing aid this week. Finally! And it's cracks me up when she speaks Vietnamese to my sister's non-viet friends. =)
Grandpa is doing fine. I think everyone is settled into this new house and definitely likes better than the old one.
Good report TiTo. For me here, I'm hanging to my job, too busy with both job and family. The girls have more demands when they grow and can't wait to the time when they start dating. Their Mon is going to have heart attack. She has been "brain washed" them about "men are all evil and there is only one thing they want from you". Hehehe.

I have no idea how Tin got her mom let her stay alone by herself at NYC for med. shool. Well, the best way is that she can live with us and take the train/ subway for transportation to NYU for ... 6 years!!! just 2 1/2 hours every day . hehe... Oh, poor my little girl. But we're welcome her to be here so I can have a maid who take care my kids. There is a big... empty living room for her to stay. We're just throwing out the old furniture.
When it needs to do it her Mon will have no choice to let her go and stay in NY for school unless she got other schools to chose. I asked if they are going to stay at Beo' home during this visit only.
I actually don't know what is going to happen, but this would be the ideal thing to do (of course a worried mom and aunt won't let us do that): Thursday land at 5pm, go to hotel near Time Square, eat dinner out, interview Friday morning from 8-1pm, go explore NYC, go to co Thuy's house Friday night. Then Sunday morning we are leaving already. Not much time at all...=(
